Siberian Weather in Tuscany

We have just experienced the worst snow conditions in years here in Italy.

Here in Barga we got off fairly lightly though with a deep snow fall then missing the second fall which was forcast in other areas.

In some parts of the country even church roofs collapsed under the weight of the snow.

The worst for us in Barga though were the biting Siberian winds with an indescribable wind chill, taking temperatures right down to -22 C...... Roll on the spring.
