We arrange to meet our guests on arrival at Pisa airport.
We do ask guests to arrive before midday as we arrange a welcome lunch on arrival day. If guests are arriving later we can arrange a taxi usually with Archie our Scottish taxi driver but it is a guests' own cost.
We do not charge to meet you and pick you up at Pisa if you arrive before midday.
On departure we will take all guests to Pisa airport. We usually arrange the time for this to meet the earliest flight for our guests, provided that this is not in the early hours of the morning. For very early flights we will arrange a taxi but the cost is met by the guests. If some guests have a flight in the afternoon and others in the morning, we will take all guests together to Pisa airport to meet the ealiest flight.
On the free day our guests can choose to do anything they want.
Breakfast is provided, but guests make their own arrangements for lunch and dinner on this day and this is often part of the fun.
We are happy to book taxis and give you information about trains and buses but all costs on the free day are for guests.

The family run accommodation that Tuscany Walking use is at the nearby village of Tiglio.
The spacious accommodation is refurbished in the traditional Tuscany style but with all modern comforts.
There is a lovely bedroom, a separate sitting area, kitchenette and a private bedroom.
Each apartment is completely private and you have your own front door and key.
There is a breakfast room where guests eat breakfast together and the swimming pool is shared by guests but private to the accommodation.
Tuscany Walking staff do not stay on the premises but are always on call if guests need anything at any time of day as is the owner, Gioconda and her family.
We cater our walks to the abilities and expectations of our guests.
We ask for the age group and fitness levels on the booking form which helps us to put people of similar abilities together.
On the first walk your guide will also assess the group and tailor the rest of the week based on that assessment.
Most of our walks can be adapted if to be lengthened or shortened.
We do not believe in route marching our guests but we can arrange special weeks for guests who want something quite challenging, please contact us for more information.
Yes Tuscany Walking include all meals in the price of the holiday.
With the exception of the free day where guests make their own arrangements, all meals are included in the price.
We have a special arrangement with local restaurants where guests can choose their dinner including wine, up to a specified value. Any extras such as upgrading wine or taking a liqueur which take the value above the specified amount, is charged to the guest after the meal. We review this amount every year and have found that our guests to be happy with this arrangement.
Lunches on walking days are in the form of picnics and usually include bread and fresh fruit. Any extra snacks are usually provided by the guests.

We have had many guests over the years who have needed, or have requested special dietary arrangments.
If there is a need for special dietary arrangements guests should state this on the booking form.
